SCARLET TV IS BACK WITH WORLD’S FIRST BLUETOOTH COMPATIBILITY

June, 2009 – Lagos Nigeria: LG Electronics, leader in the global flat panel display market, has launched the world’s first Bluetooth compatible LCD TV into Nigeria with the launch of the New LG Scarlet LH70 LCD TV in Lagos recently. Apart from its slimmer design, the new Scarlet comes with Bluetooth Compatibility which gives consumers more opportunity to explore and experience the possibilities of these products. With the Bluetooth feature, consumers can now listen to TV with wireless headset as well as enjoy viewing photos from mobile phones or songs from MP3, on the new Scarlet TV.

Besides other features found in the new entrant, the LH70 Scarlet TV allows viewers to use its Bluetooth compatibility feature to connect directly to mobile phones to easily display mobile pictures and movies in the living room. While its USB 2.0 port and HD DivX support make it easy to watch high resolution video files stored on external hard discs, memory cards or other USB devices.

Other unique features of the New Scarlet TV that would endear this masterpiece to consumers include advanced technology that provides incredibly sharp full HD image quality with LG's TruMotion 120Hz technology and rich, clear sound; round curves and scarlet accents; the soft, circular, transparent power button, with a red glow that takes a 360-degree run around the rim of the power button, emitting a shimmering white LED glow when the TV is on; and the 1.56 inch breadth gives it a super slim frame.

LG Electronics, the global giant also launched into the Nigerian market, the LG PQ70 Plasma TV on the same day as the Scarlet LH70. The PQ70 is a single layer plasma TV that offers the latest high-end features within a spectacular streamlined look that blends perfectly with a room’s décor. It produces floating image enhanced by invisible speakers. It also permits AV mode with picture freeze capability as well as an intelligent sensor that makes it perform better using the Divx/JPEG/MP3 (USB2.0) and Bluetooth thus permitting even more possibilities.

Just like the Scarlet TV, the PQ70 easily pairs with a wide range of Bluetooth devices, expanding the TV’s capabilities and content choices. Viewers can look at photos or listen to music stored on compatible mobile phones and connect Bluetooth headphones wirelessly.
