LG IVORY COAST 2003 was a fun filled
carnival which kicked off on September 20th and went
on till the 4th of October. The 15-day carnival generated
local involvement, which enhanced higher brand recall
value for LG. The main attractions of the carnival
were the golf, football and cycling tournaments, which
created a huge response. The other events also included
the crowning of Miss LG Ivory coast, an explosive
music concert and the free service campaign. It was
fifteen days of fun filled excitement for the people
of the Ivory Coast.
Press conference for IVORY COAST carnival was held
on Saturday September 20, 2003 at the Novotel Abidjan
Plateau. The guest included all major news dailies,
TV channels and Radio. The press conference was successful
as it fetched positive media response. |

| Football |
| On the 21st of September LG organized
a football tournament between ASEC and Enyimba FC
at the Felix-Houphouet Boigny stadium. The tournament
drew a huge crowd in the stadium which was filled
with excitement and maximum entertainment for the
fans. |

| Free
Service Campaignl |
| LG conducted a free service after-sale
campaign from the 22nd to the 26th of September at
the Intelco Nogues avenue au Plateau. During those
five days, the technicians at LG repaired any LG appliances
brought at the venue free of labor charge and also
there was a 50% reduction on the parts replaced. The
customers appreciated this event. |

| Concert |
| The city witnessed a mind-blowing concert
on the 27th of September. A lot of the local bands
and artists performed at the event where they had
the crowd moving to their tune and it was one memorable
experience. |

Night |
| The grand event was the LG Night, which
took place on the 3rd of October at the Hotel Ivoire
Continental. The event was attended by a lot of dignitaries.
Mr. T.H.Ryu who was the chief guest inaugurated the
event. LG displayed all their final products. |

Competition |
| The LG Korean cup took place on the
28th of September at the Ivoire Golf Club Abidjan.
The prizes we distributed in the evening, which was
accompanied by dinner, and dance the event was broadcasted
on the local channels. |

Launch |
| On the 29th evening LG Launched their
portable telephones at the Sofitel Hotel - Abidjan-Plateau.
The event was a great success and was attended by
a number of media journalist and got adequate media
exposure. |

| Cycling
Competition |
| The cycling competition took place
on the 4th of October and was the final event of the
carnival. The federation of the Ivory Cost of cycling
organized the compition. There were a lot of participation
from the people and it was a perfect end to a 15-day
carnival. |
