Intro
The LG Electronics Carnival at Ghana a kicked off amidst grand festivity. The duration of this activity was of four weeks. A host of activities were organised to involve the local community and enable high brand recall of LG Electronics. Some of the prominent activities which drew a lot of crowd were Street Karoke, LG Cup and LG Night.


LG Cup
LG Cup tournament has started on 23rd Feb with a grand opening both at Capital city Accra and Kumasi. The country agent of LG Electronics, Somotex Ghana's Director Mr. Ashok delivered the opening speech and declared the
tournament open at Accra Stadium. Managing Director Mr. Hyde did the official Kick-off of the tournamnet.

Both the stadiums were full to the capacity of 50,000 spectators.
The scene at Accra stadium was amazing. The Accra match has shown live on Ghana TV and watched by thousands of fans.The final round was played on March 23rd.This cup is the part of LG Carnival,which was started on March 7th.


Street Karaoke
During LG Electronics Carnival in Ghana, the country agent of LG Electronics Somotex Ghana organized the street Karaoke contest in front of his showroom at Osu.
It was a very great event, more than 1000 people enjoyed it and it was broadcasted on Local FM Channel.


Free Service Campaign
LG Electronics organized free service campaign in Ghana during LG Carnival. Partner of LG Electronics, Somotex Ghana has conducted this event succesuly with lot of appreciation from the customers.

Four Cities including Kumasi,Accra,Takrodi & capcoast and Up-Country has been covered by providing in Home Service and carvan service.Demonstration of products for better usage has been given during the campaign. People enjoyed this Campaign to the utmost.

Visit to SOS village
LG Electronics made a humanitarian contribution through the Ghana carnival by organising a visit to the SOS village. This is to again substantiate the LG phillosophy in Africa where the emphasis has been to induce a good feeling with the brand of LG.
