| LG Gambia Carnival kicked off on May
10 at Bonjul. The 15 day long carnival, which went
on till May 25, was successfull in generating local
involvement, which in turn enhanced higher brand recall
value for LG. Events like Miss Sierra Leone Contest,
Beach Volleyball, Football and Clean Africa campaigns
generated huge positive response. |

| LG Gambia Carnival kicked off on May
10 with Miss Sierra Leone Contest held at Bonjul.
It was a dazzling display of beauty. With guests from
all major news dailies, TV channels, Radio and prominent
VIPs thronging the front row, the inaugerating event
was a great success. |

Marley day |
| The first superstar from the third
world, Bob Marley has been a great influence to all
rhythm & blues artistes since his day. LG paid
tribute to this great musician from Jamaica by organising
The Bob Marley Day in Bonjul on May 11. Several bands
performed, singing either their own numbers or performing
covers of the great master. It was evident that the
Marley spirit was still alive as numbers like I shot
the Sheriff and No Woman No cry conjured the same
fenzy as before. |

dinner |
| LG Dinner on May 16th was a sweet topping
on the Gambia carnival. It was a VIP dinner where
all prominent VIPs from Gambia were present. LG gained
in contact and goodwill from this dinner party. |

| Environmental
cleaning |
| LG once again stood up for a social
cause. With help from local scouts in Gambia, LG distributed
trash box to the Bonjul city council on May 17. Cleanliness
is a basic right of living for a better tomorrow,
and none could ignore it. LG feels proud and obliged
to be a part of the cause. |

| LGE Africa organized Football Tournament
on May 24. It was a great event as the players zoomed
across the field in attempt to net the ball. The day
saw a packed stadium and audience were witness to
a mesmerizing show of skill. No doubt Bonjul Club
bagged the trophy, as they were outstanding in the
field. |

volleyball |
| LGE Africa organized beach volleyball
on May 18. Six teams all over from Gambia participated
for the prestigious LG cup. This was once again a
show of great skill and talents as the audience had
an memorable day out in the beach. |

| Mega
street contest |
| The grand finale of the LG Gambia carnival
was the LG Mega Street March, held on May 25 in Bonjul.
It was a walk for solidarity, that found immense success
with the presence of Miss Sierra Leone. LG gathrered
goodwill and higher brand recall as the crowd marched
forward. |
